Spa Party Treatments will begin promptly at the time indicated above. Please advise all guests that the party will begin promptly at the scheduled time. All activities are carefully planned and any child that arrives late may join the activity which is currently taking place. This is necessary to insure the least amount of disruption to the party. Understanding this policy is appreciated.
*Also, please ask guests to remove any polish they may have on fingers and toes. We always carry polish remover,but sometimes it is time consuming to remove, especially glitter polish*
A party is not booked until a deposit is given . Once you have paid the deposit, your party is officially booked. Please print out contract, read it, sign, and scan the contract to us before/prior to the date of the party. We also carry extra contracts with us in case you were not able to print it out, so you can read it again and fill out the contract while we are setting up, prior to starting the party. Please read the FAQ’s / Policies page.
$35.00 fee for any returned check.
Security Deposit & Gratuity: A 50% non-refundable deposit (credit or debit only for deposit*We use SquareUp) is due at the time of booking. Shall any party be cancelled and not rescheduled, the deposit will be forfeited in its entirety. The deposit payment will be subtracted from your party total. 15% gratuity is not included and will be added to all party packages. All packages are usually up to2 hours long (unless otherwise stated). If you book a party within 5 days prior of the party date, a $50.00 rush fee will apply! TRAVEL: Party packages include roundtrip travel within a 20 mile radius from Algonquin,IL. A fee of $1.00 per mile is charged for travel beyond the 20-mile zone (round trip). This charge is necessary to cover the extra gas, time and vehicle wear and tear. Mileage is determined via our GPS.WE USE MAINLY FREEWAYS. PLUS WE MAY NEED TO ADD ANY TOLL FEES IF WE NEED TO TAKE THAT ROUTE. WE ALSO HAVE TO TAKE INTO CONSIDERATION IF THERE ARE ANY ACCIDENTS OR CLOSURES ALONG THE WAY AND WE HAVE TO TAKE A DIFFERENT ROUTE. But we always try our best to drive the shortest distance possible on our GPS.
Day of Party:
We will arrive 30-45 before the party is scheduled to set up everything for the party.
Cancellations, Rescheduling & Refunds:
We strive our best to work with you when rescheduling occurs.. however, it is based on availability. We must receive one week notice to reschedule your party. If you need to cancel your party for any reason we cannot refund your deposit, as we begin preparations for your party immediately upon booking your slot. We will gladly try to accommodate you to reschedule your party.
There will be a $50.00 charge for a date-change request by the client.*Please keep in mind, that once a party is booked, we start scheduling team members for your event and that date and time becomes unavailable to other parents* In cases of bad weather, serious illness or other unforeseen emergencies, Ooh La La Mobile Spa reserves the right to reschedule your party.
You will need to confirm your final guest count with Ooh La La Mobile Spa three (3) days prior the party date. This will be the confirmation number Ooh La La Mobile Spa will use to plan your party, and you will be charged accordingly. Once you have given a final head count by the third (3) day prior to your booked party by noon time, you can only add additional children if needed to.
Some guests may not show up even if they RSVP. Please remember you will be charged for the final guest count you confirmed prior to the party.
Siblings of Guests:
Our party package covers the guest of honor and guests. We prepare our parties based on the final headcount given to us prior to the party. In the event that additional children show up and/or are invited to the party without our knowledge, additional fees will incur per child .
Ooh La La Mobile Spa, its owners, affiliates, and employees assume no responsibility or liability for accidents that may occur while on your premises, or any premise that you own,rent or borrow for us to host your party. We assume no responsibility for allergies relating to food items, clothing, make-up, injuries to party guests, or property damage that occur before, during or after the party. As professional event planners, we can assure you we will provide a safe environment for you and your guests and will treat your home or place of chosen venue with great quality, care and respect. All liability will lie strictly with the client. You must inform each parent that we will be using yogurt, oatmeal and other skin products. You are responsible for making sure that each child has permission from the parent to use all of our products. If there is a child that must not come in contact with any of our dairy products, makeup, nail polish, etc, you the parent, are responsible in letting us know and are responsible in making sure that the child does not come in contact with the products. Please note that all service performed are for entertainment purposes only.
We always encourage parents to take as many photos and recorded videos as possible. All our photos or video taken by our company are the sole ownership of Ooh La La Mobile Spa and we may use them for promotional purposes on our website, print ads or publications. We always respect our client’s privacy and for this reason, your personal information will not be disclosed to third-parties. *You also have the choice of not having your pictures taken.*
One of the (many) perks of our packages is that, you the parent, do not have to stay present for the duration of the spa party. We are all trained to handle small or large groups of children….So you can sit back, relax and let us do all the work :)
